  1. I can't access my regedit, gpedit and cmd

Hi everyone.BackgroundSo i happened to have an issues where suddenly a couple of blue PowerShell windows would pop-up on my screen and disappear before I could even read anything. So I suspected that it might be some sneaky virus. So I tried everything. Scanned my system with Windows defender with all kind of options there but nothing was caught and the issues persisted. And sometimes Chrome would suddenly shut down as if it crashed. So I started looking an eye at task manager and event viewer and realized that there would be multiple PowerShell instances running in the taskmanager and also wh

this is not the case for gpedit though, which for me is not so importend.

Win 10 was instaaled from a clean win8 installation with upgrades until win 8.1 could be installed with the store, and the win10 also via store.

Thanks a lot for your help, Andi

I can't access my regedit, gpedit and cmd

Unable to open regedit, cmd or any .exe files

Hi, I am encountering a problem that the default app of .exe files has been changed.

While I did some research that many of the solutions suggest that I can reset it via cmd or regedit. However, my oc doesn't let me open any of those.

Everytime I choose to open regedit or cmd. Both of them has the "open with" box popped up, which is the same as other applications.

What is happening to my pc? Can anyone help?

    Thanks a lot.
