Windows 10: I cannot login, it says I do not have an account.

When trying to sign in I get :"We couldn't find a Microsoft account. Try entering your details again, or create an account." Then when I press create an account it says I already have one with that exact email address. I try logging in and it gives me the message:"That Microsoft account doesn't exist. Enter a different account or ."Have tried logging in on other devices to similar messages. I got one saying use a new sign up link on my phone.Any help would be appreciated. My account was working perfectly fine last night with no problems at all.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.

Cannot link/add my Microsoft Account to Local Account

Hello Ken,

Im using Win10 Build 1607 with all latest update.

I also run all related troubleshooters:

• Windows Update
• Store Apps (says i have to login in my microsoft account but thats the problem, i can't)
• Microsoft Accounts

No Problem found. Also the suggestions from Microsoft didnt helped.

 

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:
