Windows 10: I cannot install basic typing, handwriting, and speech language packs in Settings in Windows 10

In Windows Settings > Time & Language > Language, when I select the language options, I cannot download basic typing, handwriting, or speech language packs. How can I fix it?

Windows 11: Hindi language pack installed but downloading of language features like Basic typing, Handwriting and Speech stuck at 70% and can't proceed beyond that.

I’m using English (US) as OS default language and Hindi language pack installed in my laptop, also. But I would like to download Hindi Language features like Basic typing, Handwriting and Speech for typing in Hindi. But Language features like Basic typing, Handwriting and Speech pack downloads get stuck at 70% every time and can't proceed beyond that. Screenshot is given below:





So that, I am requesting for help to complete download of Hindi Language features like Basic typing, Handwriting and Speech in windows 11.

Download failed for japanese basic typing/handwriting/speech


im trying to download the Japanese basic typing/handwriting/speech packs but it keeps failing and when i click on more details it just opens manage optional features

 

Speech language pack

Hi, I'm having a similar problem. I can't install new speech language packs.



I went to Settings --> Speech --> Speech language : selected from download list another language like Chinese or Japanese. A popup appears, "Download Speech language?" I select "yes". Underneath the language pack name it says "Downloading language..."
then it ends and displays "Couldn't download. Tap to retry." I tried this many times, on different wireless networks. I tried different language packs. No luck.



Any suggestions? (this is Nokia Lumia 820, I'm in China)

Settings: language and region has been set to China (I also tried US).
