Windows 10: I cannot connect to the Candy Crush Saga app store.

I have not been able to connect to the Candy Crush Sage app store since the app. was modified on 5th March 2021. My internet connection is fine. Hope you can help

Candy Crush Saga - Microsoft Store - Purchased minutes ago

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



We understand that Candy Crush Saga shows as Purchased minutes ago in Store Library. We would like to inform that Microsoft Store adds all the installed apps to the Owned list that is the reason you might be seeing Purchased minutes ago for Candy Crush
saga. The Owned list helps in finding the previously installed apps, and in case you wish to install any previously installed app, you can do that through Owned list.



However, you can hide the app from the Store library. Follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Open Microsoft Store, click on the
   Ellipsis (…).
   
2. Select My Library.
   
3. Under My Library, click on the
   Ellipsis (…) for Candy Crush Saga and select Hide.

You can try getting your progress back like this:

To get the Desktop icon back, open Start Menu on empty desktop, find Candy Crush in All Apps list, left click and drag it off the Start Menu list onto the desktop.

Unsure how long King will take to release Candy Crush Saga for Windows Phone, but it seems several apps actually got released with the name of Candy Crush Saga. Those since have been removed completely due to copyright laws. It
doesn't look like King will be releasing Candy Crush Saga for Windows Phone, but there are plenty of awesome apps that are just like (or even better than) Candy Crush Saga:

Or you can sit and wait to see when King finally releases it, which may take months, judging by the legal issues they've been having with the use of the word "Candy" in some of these games.
