Windows 10: i cannot change my windows customization

so when i first started up my pc, i had changed the colors of everything dumb idea, couldnt help it and this was before i genuinely had everything set up, but now that i do, ive discovered these settings affect so much and break a few apps, i cant reset my god awful customization settings to default because of not having windows activated, is there any way to fix this? dont really want to spend $140 just to change the colors.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
