Windows 10: I can not uninstall Media Feature Pack for Windows KB3010081?

Hello, Microsoft Support Team.I'm facing an annoying problem In Windows 10 with what is called "Media Feature Pack for Windows KB3010081". This very bad pack was downloaded and installed by me manually on my device on 12/26/2022. After its downloading and installing, I surprised with a full disablement of my laptop audio, microphone, and camera and lagging of my windows caompared to the time before downloading the pack. I tried alot to remove uninstall it using different ways but in vain as follows:1- Using uninstalling updates from the control panel but when I opened this section I did no

Uninstall Windows Media Feature Pack

I am trying to install the feature pack version "KB3099229_x64.msu", found at "https://download.microsoft.com/download/B/E/3/BE302763-5BFD-4209-9C98-02DF5B2DB452/KB3099229_x64.msu"

When doing so, installation is aborted with the message that the feature pack is already installed, erroneously referring to KB3010081.

However, the feature pack is not working nor anywhere to be found. It is not listed in Control Panel under Windows features, so I cannot disable it.

Version KB3010081 appears in the update history, but there is no option to uninstall it.

Cyberlink support is suggesting that I uninstall version KB3010081 and install the newer version KB3099229.

But how do I do that, when it does not show up anywhere? Is there a command line to uninstall, or can I remove it in the registry?

Help much needed, as Cyberlink PowerDirector is useless without WMP.

I have the same problem. When I try to install KB 3099229, I get "Feature Pack for Windows (KB3010081) is already installed on this computer".

I followed your steps above, but KB3010081 is not listed under "Installed Updates".

(Problem appeared after I upgraded from Win 7 N x64 (with Media Pack installed) to Win 10.)

KB3010081 is not listed under "Installed Updates".

I followed your steps above Wungraileng (Method 1 and Method 2), but Windows Update still reports, "Your device is up to date." and I'm unable to install KB 3099229, getting "Feature Pack for Windows (KB3010081) is already installed on this computer".
