I bought few year ago a win 10 license for students but I can access the order link anymore to use my product key as it is expired and the new OnTheHub platform doesn't have the my order history. Windows 10 update on 3 licenses of 8.1

Hello,

I have 3 different Windows 8.1 licenses and I would like to know if and how I can reserve and update them all to windows 10, here is the list of the different licenses:

1. Windows 8.1 Pro on a desktop (I bought this license when Win 8 was on sale at $30 at launch as an upgrade from 7) it should be a full license since I build the desktop myself.

2. Windows 8.1 Pro on my laptop (I bought this license not long ago as 8.1 on my student account on Dreamspark for free, thanks to the student account of my school). This should also be a full license.

3. Windows 8.1 OEM (it was installed on my laptop when I bought it 2 years ago as Win 8). This is an OEM license so it might have a different upgrade policy.

All of this licenses should be linked to the same microsoft account.

The two PRO are currently active and used daily, the OEM is not being used for the passed year, but since it's linked with the OEM key I should be able to reinstall it on the actual laptop it came with.

My question is: will I be able to reserve and then upgrade to win 10 all the 3 licenses?

If so, for the reservation to be legit, do I need to be running that license and upgrade it right? And that will come with a new windows key or product ID right?

access BIOS settings in Win 10

I have an 8-year old computer running Win 10. I need to access the BIOS settings. It used to be the holding down the F2 key during startup would bring up the BIOS screen in Windows computers. But this no longer works. A web article listed a complicated
series of steps leading to a reboot . . . but still no access to BIOS. Any suggestions?

 

Several years ago I bought a Dell pc latitude 3550 and dell upgraded into win 10

Several (5-7)years ago I bought a new Dell pc latitude 3550 with win7 and it was upgraded it to win 10. The pc has had no problems for 5 years until today when Microsoft upgraded the pc. After they restarted it, it opened up with windows 7 and won't accept my windows password. I don't have a password for windows 7 from 5 years ago! How do I get my desktop win 10 back?
