    I bought a Windows product key but don't know where it went.


    I bought Windows 10 Product key off of the website. The site says I should have gotten an email with a key but I can't find it. The laptop I activated it on now shows that it isn't activated, even though I know it used to be. Can I get some help with this?

    Hello,





    There is still a way to search for your product key. Kindly follow the steps below for you to know your product key:



    • Press Windows key + X
    • Click Command Prompt (admin)
    • Enter the following command: wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey
    • Then hit Enter
    The product key will be revealed, copy the product key then enter it.

    Give us an update on what happens.

    What do you mean you HAD to install W10 ?

    If you don`t have a key you`ll have to buy one, or use a 7 or 8 key as suggested.

    I recently bought a new laptop with Windows 10 Home version. Now it wants me to upgrade my Windows Home to Windows Pro. It demands a product key which I don´t have. I don´t want an upgrade. What should I do?
