The Bluetooth stick you bought also (I guess) had a software CD associated, did you install that software to your PC ? I also will help if you provide the Bluetooth software version (is it BlueSoleil, Widcomm, Toshiba or are you using Microsoft inbuilt
Bluetooth Software in your PC ?

After you have installed the Bluetooth software after that you should install Nokia PC Suite.

Then to connect the phone and PC you must make sure both devices have the Bluetooth "on".

But let's take one step at the time, the Bluetooth sw version is needed.

And yes, infrared is totally different, your PC seems to have Infrared, but your phone does not, so no match there, the only way is Bluetooth.

ok the model is 8800.

since the only way to connect it with pc is bluetooth so i bought the bluetooth usb stick, now when i open the nokiaPC suite app and try to connect i have to chose either between "cable" or "infared", when i chose infared it keeps on searching....

but infared isnt same as bluetooth is it? so how the hell do i connect it with the bluetooth usb stick now....

someone help me
