Windows 10: I am unable to upgrade Windows 10 22H2 to Windows 11 24H2 - Error code 0x80070003 - 0x40008

When trying to setup Windows 11 on my computer with the Windows 11 Installation Assistant, I get through step 3 and then get this message: "Setup has encountered a critical error" "Error code: 0x80070003 - 0x40008". I also get an error when trying to run it through Windows update which says "Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later. Error code 0x80070003.I would really appreciate any help!

Reboot Windows.

Re-run Windows 11 setup. Post fresh setupact.log if the setup doesn't succeed.

(If that doesn't help, we may need to rebuild the EFI partition via WinRE.)

I am unable to open various apps and update them due to the error 0x80070003. Please help as this is really frustrating and the windows update fix it tool does not rectify the problem.
