    I am having a problem with what I think may be Time-synching, but am not sure if that is the actual problem. On a number of websites when I attempt to make a booking for a particular time, the *actual* time that the booking is made for is for a time +/- 1-2 hours. For example, I attempted to make an appointment for my doctor on the medical practice's website. I press the entry on the calendar for 11:00am. But this leads to the calendar showing that the appointment has been made for 1:00pm. But if I go ahead and make the appointment on this website anyway, despite the erroneous display then the

    • Is the Calendar not synching in Windows Phone or PC?
    If the Calendar is not synching in PC I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps you.

    Let's try the below steps and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

    Step 1: I suggest you to run the
    Troubleshooter for Windows App and see if it helps to resolve the issue.

    Step 2: If the issue persists, then I suggest you to
    remove and reconfigure the account back in the Mail app.


    Reconfiguring the account should force it to sync again and resolve the issue.

    Problem with synching to time server

    When looking through the list of events in Windows Event Viewer, I have, for a long while now, been getting, every day, several warnings that look like this:-

    Event 134, Time service
    NtpClient was unable to set a manual peer to use as a time source because of DNS resolution error on 'time-new.nist.gov'. NtpClient will try again in 15 minutes and double the reattempt interval thereafter. The error was: No such host is known. (0x80072AF9).

    The most recent of these was today at 15:28. When I look at the internet time settings (via control panel), it says the clock was successfully synchronised with time.nst.gov on 22/10/2018 (today) at 16:19 (a few minutes ago). The list of time servers is as follows:-

    time.windows.com
    time.nist.gov
    time.nw.nist.gov
    time-a.nist.gov
    time-b.nist.gov

    My questions is this: Why is the NTP client apparently trying to synchronise using a server that isn’t in the list? Where is it getting the server name 'time-new.nist.gov' from? It’s not in the list - only ‘time.nw.nist.gov’.
    If I set the time server to time.windows.com should it cure the problem?

    Synching Problem

    I have an HTC HD phone that I need to synch my calendar and contacts. I have Vista Home Premium. Synching worked initially then it stopped recognising the phone when I connected the USB. Today I donwloaded Windows Mobile again and it worked fine - once.
    Now it no longer recognises the phone when I connect and there doesn't seem to be anyway for me to get it to. Any suggestions? It seems impractical to have to download WM every time I want to synch.
