Hyper-V on Windows 11: Mouse Vertically Inverted in Virtual Machines Running Older Versions...

As the title suggests, the mouse movement both using an external mouse and trackpad is vertically inverted in machines running versions of windows older than Windows 10. Is there any fix for this? I've tried to uninstall and reinstall mouse drivers in the guest OS and restarting, but that did not fix this issue. Mouse movement works correctly if the guest OS is Windows 10 or 11.

    :)

  2. How to maximize a running game window in hyper-v virtual machine ?

Hi, I’m Nicole, I’ll be happy to help you out today.

You can try adjusting the screen resolution on the virtual machine to match the resolution of your host machine. You can also try enabling "Seamless mode" in the Hyper-V settings for the virtual machine, which will allow the virtual machine's window to be resized and will make it appear as if the application is running directly on the host machine. Additionally, you can try using the "Enhanced Session Mode" which will allow you to have better graphics and sound performance on the virtual machine.

Here are the steps to enable "Seamless mode" in Hyper-V settings:

Open the Hyper-V Manager on your host machine.

Right-click on the virtual machine that you want to enable Seamless mode for, and select Settings.

In the left pane, select "Integration Services".

Check the box next to "Seamless Mode" and then click OK.

Once you have completed these steps, the virtual machine should be in Seamless mode and the virtual machine's applications should appear as if they are running directly on the host machine.

Please note that some application may not work with this feature.

    Regards

  4. Hyper-V on Windows 11: Mouse Vertically Inverted in Virtual Machines Running Older Versions...

Cannot turn off Hyper V, cannot run Virtual Box machines or VMWare machines

    Since the latest update:

    Edition: Windows 10 Pro

    Verion: 1607

    OS Build: 14393.222

I can no longer turn off Hyper V and thus cannot run Virtual Box machines or VMware machines.

When I attempt to turn off Hyper V and restart Windows as requested, Windows simply re-enables Hyper V.

Then when I try to run a Virtual Box machine, I get an error like this:

Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Centos 70.

    VT-x is not available (VERR_VMX_NO_VMX).

    Result Code:

    Component:
    ConsoleWrap

    Interface:
    IConsole {872da645-4a9b-1727-bee2-5585105b9eed}

When I try to start a VMware machine, I get this:

VMware Player and Hyper-V are not compatible. Remove the Hyper-V role from the system before running VMware Player.

But as I have noted, I am not able to turn off Hyper-V since the Anniversary Update.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
