Windows 10: HP Envy x360 Randomly Restarts and BSOD

Hi, over the past year I've had a problem with my HP Envy x360 where it will randomly crash and restart, or will crash and show me the BSOD will error codes such as system service exception, irql_not_less_or_equal. These issues only started occurring after my laptop hinge broke and had to be replaced about a year ago, and I got it replaced. I've had to switch to a new laptop because it was constantly disrupting my uni work. I recently wiped the entire laptop and reset it to see if that would fix the issue but even whilst no programs are running or open, it has continued to crash multiple times

I appreciate the efforts taken by you in troubleshooting this issue. The details provided helps us to avoid repeating the steps.

This issue can occur if some of the system files and drivers are not working as expected.

Suggest you to refer and follow the steps from this article on ‘Troubleshooting Touch Screen issues’.

Important: Your screen resolution needs to be at least 1024 x 768 to have multiple windows and apps on your screen at the same time.

Follow these steps to uninstall the driver from the PC.

1. Open Device Manager.
   
2. Select the arrow next to Human Interface Devices and select HID-compliant touch screen.
   
3. Right-click (or tap and hold) the name of the device, and select Uninstall.
   
4. Restart your PC, and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.
   

You may also want to
download the drivers from the OEM HP website and install it to check if that helps.

BSOD W10 Pro 1903 on HP Envy (HP ENVY x360)

Hello,

My wife is facing many BSOD and I am not able to solve.

I've tried to update all the drivers and read many forum, but I have not been able to solve and even worst I have no clue (i beleive this is due to a SSD issue or a problem when runing under the battery, i.e not pluged to the AC power).

She has a bran new laptop, HP Envy (HP ENVY x360 - 13-ag0020nf) with Wndows 10 Professionnal vesrsion 1903 installed (installed from scratched)
BuildNumber : 18362.418

I made a new installation and installed all the drivers and updated the bios.

I'm desperatly looking for some help.
