Windows 10: how to stop my laptop from automatically switching between my personal and school accounts...

My laptop uses Microsoft edge, and it automatically switches between my personal and school accounts whenever I try to access student portal, google drive and similar websites. I assumed that it was an intentional feature and so I would like to know if and how I can turn it off.This is my laptop model : yoga 7ithankyou

Why does my PC automatically switch from my personal account to my school account?

Hello,

My laptop keeps switching to my school account randomly. And the fact that it happens so randomly makes me suspect that it is being done on purpose by someone at the school. This worries me a lot. I got the Microsoft Office pack through my school, but even when I'm not using any of the apps while being on my personal account, it seems to still switch to my school account at random times.

Can anyone explain why this is happening?

Also, do schools even have the ability to remotely switch accounts on a students laptop?

 

Windows search automatically switching to school account instead of my personal account!

Whenever I turn on my laptop, the Windows search always uses my school account even though I have my personal account set as default and everything. I started noticing it especially after Outlook updated to the new UI. I have to manually switch it from the search menu.

Is there any way to solve this issue?

Deleting school administrators

If that laptop contained a volume licence linked to the school, your sister may not be able to activate Windows, she will need to purchase a Windows licence.

Click your Start Button, type cmd then right click Command Prompt and choose 'Run as Administrator'

Run or paste this command and hit Enter:

slmgr.vbs /dlv

Open the Settings app, then go to Accounts - Your Info.

On that page, is your sisters personal Microsoft account listed or is it a school account?

On that settings page, is there an option to switch to a local account or an option to stop automatically signing into apps with the account?

On the left, select Emails and Accounts, is there is the school Email listed there?

Select Access Work or School, is there is the school Email listed there?
