How to stop Microsoft Gameinput from reinstalling

I've been removing it via Apps & Features near daily, but if I forget to uninstall, it causes BSOD on reconfiguration. Nothing I have attempted to do has worked so far, even attempted removing all Xbox apps I can find.

GameInput Redistributable is a Microsoft package that is automatically installed with some games to provide additional functionality for gaming controllers. If you want to prevent GameInput Redistributable from being installed or reinstalled on your computer, you can try the following steps:

    1. Uninstall GameInput Redistributable: You can uninstall GameInput Redistributable from your computer by going to the Control Panel > Programs and Features > GameInput Redistributable, then select "Uninstall".
    2. Disable Automatic Windows Updates: GameInput Redistributable is sometimes installed through Windows updates. If you disable automatic Windows updates, it may prevent the package from being installed or reinstalled. To disable automatic updates, go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Advanced Options > Choose how updates are installed, then select "Notify to schedule restart" or "Never check for updates".
    3. Block GameInput Redistributable: You can try blocking the GameInput Redistributable package by using a firewall or security software. You will need to block the executable file named "gameinput.dll". The location of this file is typically in the C:\Windows\System32 folder.
    4. Remove Registry Entries: You can also try removing the registry entries for GameInput Redistributable. To do this, open the Registry Editor by typing "regedit" into the Start menu search bar. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall and delete any entries related to GameInput Redistributable.
It's worth noting that some games may require the GameInput Redistributable package to function properly, so disabling or removing it may cause those games to not work correctly. If you do encounter issues with a game after disabling GameInput Redistributable, you may need to reinstall the package or enable automatic updates to restore its functionality.
