Windows 10: how to select REPEAT CHOSEN SONG in WIN MEDIA PLAYER next to options like SHUFFLE REPEAT?

please impart how to select REPEAT CHOSEN SINGLE SONG in WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER menu, next to known options like SHUFFLE and REPEAT. selected suboption WINDOWS DVD PLAYER in this form is the closest i could choose.MANY THANKS

Win 10: Media Player; Playlist Not Shuffling, or Forwarding, When Cast to Device...

Greetings gurus...

I'm having some trouble with WIN 10 and the Windows Media Player. When playing music files, an album (1) can be selected/created as a play list and each song will play sequentially in the album, forwarding on its own.

However when I create a playlist from a series of albums, and 'shuffle' the songs - the media player will only play the first song; it will then repeat the that song - or the second if you manually forward to next song. It will not move to the next song
on the shuffled playlist...

The shuffle icon is activated - the 'circle' or repeat icon is not.

How to repeat ONE song on Windows Media Player 12?

In the list list of tracks, right click on the ONE song and select play

then click the repeat button (second from left) on the media control bar. (or use Ctrl+T)

the default for a double click is "play all" so when you double click on a track it adds all tracks to the temporary playlist, the repeat option then repeats the whole playlist

I haven't found a way to successfully alter this behaviour (yet)

Shuffle will make items play in a random order. Unfortunately we cannot play two songs back to back with a Shuffle.
