    How to repair the VPN or proxy drivers? they only work in certain apps


    I've recently run into a problem with using a VPN on my VAIO laptop.One day, randomly, my laptop stopped connecting to the Internet. It would connect to my home Wi-Fi network and say that it had internet, but it wouldn't open any websites or apps that are website-related. It would only work in apps like Telegram. Now it's randomly fixed, but I have the same problem with using a VPN. The VPN only works in apps like Telegram, not on web browsers.Can somebody help, please?

    No Proxy/VPN method is working on Nokia X2DS

    I am a Nokia X2 owner and I found that no Proxy/VPN app is working on my phone, so I think this a base problem related to operating system layers such as kernel and iptables.

    I tried:

    Orbot > connected, Proxy error in apps, no Internet

    Shadowsocks > connected, Proxy error in apps, no Internet

    Proxydroid > connected, No effect, direct connection

    OpenVPN > does not connect to VPN server

    Bitmask > does not connect to service provider



    The only working soloution is manual HTTP proxy in wi-fi settings. Does any one have an idea what is this behaviour for?
