Windows 10: How to reinstall Wordpad in Windows 10

The command line as admin DISM option just reinstalled the old version from an image file, which obviously had the bad version. Thinking to just uninstall from the Settings>Apps>Apps and Features mechanism, I successfully uninstalled, but when trying to reinstall I found over 300 options, none of which had the string "Wordpad" in them. That caused me to reinstall the bad version from the command line. I'm back where I started.The specific Wordpad problem is that on this computer it has defaulted to a 4" wide document, with no other options. Using the size settings under File o

Find Wordpad in Windows 10

I typed WordPad in the Search box, also in the Cortana box.

Both resulted in a list of internet sites on the problem of finding WordPad in Windows 10.

This was NOT helpful.

Can someone give the steps on finding WordPad in Windows 10.

Microsoft seems to be very consumer-unfriendly. It cannot make a product that is consumer-friendly.

Windows 10 full of apps, that is very unhelpful. Too ad-oriented. And we have to pay for Windows 10 as part of the purchase price of the laptop.

 

Wordpad for Windows 10

I installed Wordpad for Windows 10. However, when I attempt to "Open" a file, my file list doesn't contain the subfolder that I need. the subfolder exists in Windows Explorer. Any suggestions?

 

WordPad issue

I like to suggest you some steps as per my last experience follow these:
Click -> Start menu -> type ‘WordPad' in the taskbar-> search and click on the result. -> open WordPad.
If you’re find difficulty to open WordPad,
the Press -> Windows + R key -> type ‘Write’ -> hit enter.
You will WordPad application launching on the
screen.

Navigate this path C:\windows\system32\ you will see a ‘write’ (File).
The application is here now.

Just run an Office repair sofwtare to check if there will be any changes on the Word pad.
