Windows 10: How to Reinstall Drivers for Windows 11 Touchpad devices when WIndows did reinstall them

The Windows 11 Touchpage had a lot of performance problems, I followed Microsoft's instructions about how to update the Touchpad device, I went into the Device Manager and none of the Human Interface Touchpad devices had an update option. So, I uninstalled them and rebooted Windows. After the reboot several of the devices were no longer listed on the Device Manager. The Touchpad is working better than before it was uninstalled but there are issues so I think the drivers for the Windows 11 Human Interface devices need to be installed. I need step-by-step instructions on how to reinstall the

Reinstall Windows?

You don't need to reinstall windows. Go to the device manager and remove uninstall the processor and motherboard drivers listed. When you start the system back up you should be able to re-install the new ones. I just changed my mobo/processor Friday, everything is fine.

BTW I have seen some reviews that state practically no difference in using more than 2gb of ram.

 

Touchpad driver was not reinstalled by windows?

I uninstalled my touchpad driver and restarted my pc and windows didn't reinstall it and I don't know how to get my touchpad driver back. I did this already and it fixed my issue and I did again just now and windows didn't reinstall it.Using a dell g15 5511 with windows 11.

 

Change motherboards without reinstalling Windows 7!

Don't even need to go through all those steps. Once you got into safe mode,windows 7 will rebuild it's drivers automatically. Boot normally and then install chipset drivers if not already in.

Edit:
One thing though, it gets hectic with RAID and you will NEED to reinstall/rebuild the array. Only circumstance where you will find driver conflicts.
