    How to reduce hardware reserved memory


    Hi,I am using AMD Ryzen5 4800G with 3600MHz corsair RAM on windows 10 pro and MSI B550M PRO VDHI MOBO. I have 24GB installed but it shows hardware reserved 4.1GB. Wanted to check on some doubts1> That 4.1 GB is not usable if current memory usage goes high?2> Why system hardware require so much reserve memory?3> Can this be changed? if yes, then how and will impact anything?4> What is the ideal value for this? Kindly help on these doubts.Thanks!

    Is it safe to reduce hardware reserved memory from bios my laptop is Lenovo ideapad gaming 3 with 8 gb ram 5.9 usable as 2gb hardware reserved memory and l want to reduce it to 0.5gb

    Hardware reserved memory at 14GB!

    My hardware reserved memory for some reason is at 14GB. I don't know what caused this but I've tried unchecking the maximum memory and many other suggested fixes. I understand that Windows controls the reserved memory, but this seems way too high and it's causing performance issues. How do I reduce the reserved memory to a reasonable level and free up RAM?

    How to reduce Hardware Reserved Memory in Windows 10 Pro

    My system is running Windows 10 Pro, 64 bit. I have 32GB of installed memory, however Windows only reports that 15.9GB is "usable". The other 16.1GB is shown as "hardware reserved".

    How can I reduce the "hardware reserved" and make more of my RAM "usable"?
