How to recover External drive data disappeared during the Storage Pool creation process?


Tried to use the "Storage Pool" in my Windows 10, by trying to add my WD external HD, but operation failed and I end-up with obscure, unrecognized external HD except by "Disk Management".

How do I recover data from a Storage Pool that says it is uninitialized?

My D: drive is a Storage Pool consisting of 2 5TB Seagate Backup+ drives in a mirrored configuration.

During normal use, they suddenly disappeared from my system.

They do not appear in Windows Explorer.

They do not appear in Storage Spaces.

They DO appear in Disk Management as one uninitialized drive.

How can I recover the data from them?

If I initialize the drive/pool, will it become impossible to recover the data?

I have already used Recuva, which does not see the drives or Pool;

Recoverit, which sees the Pool, but does not see a partition to allow data recovery;

and I am currently running GetDataBack, which sees the Pool, to see if it can find the files.

I would appreciate any more information, or better suggestions.

I do NOT use Hotmail, because their Spam filters are useless, and they don't block senders.

How to remove a bad drive in Windows 10 storage spaces pool

Could someone list the steps involved in replacing a bad drive from a Windows 10 storage spaces pool? I cannot find any info on the Microsoft support site that is specific to Windows 10. Also, could you list the steps to remove a 'good' drive and replace
it with another drive if the process is different?

I need help. I'm not sure how does the storage pool works. Will my external drive be formatted? Will I lose everything in it?

When I connect my hard drives this is what it shows:

-The following drives might contain files. If you use a formatted drive with a storage pool, Windows permanently deletes all the files on that drive. You can't recover the files by using the Recycle Bin.
