Windows 10: How to permanently remove a device from your account which you allowed to log in the past

When i try and remove a device from my microsoft account it allows me to but then a couple of days later when i check the device is back in my account. In the past i had allowed the device to log in but then i had asked the person to log out which they said they have done but it comes up that they are still in my account.Im not sure if this is because they had downloaded minecraft from my xbox gamepass or that they just keep logging in as i have changed my password and put two step verification

How to permanently remove laptop device from my Microsoft account

At this location Manage devices used with your Microsoft account - Microsoft Support I found these instructions:

If you don't use a device but it still appears in your devices list, here's how to remove it:

• Go to account.microsoft.com/devices, sign in, and find the device you want to remove.
• Select Show details to see info for that device.
• Under your device's name, select More actions > Remove.
• Review your device details, select the check box, I'm ready to remove this device, then select Remove.

I successfully completed Steps 1 and 2 but could not find Step 3 -
Under your device's name, select More actions > Remove

So it seems that these instructions no longer apply.

I want to remove this laptop from my account because I no longer have it.

Suggestions appreciated.

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

Need help with permanently removing accounts from Mail App

This is a shared PC and I want to either remove the email accounts that are associated with the Mail App permanently or to deactivate the automatic sign in (if there is one). I've gone to Manage Accounts - Delete Account from this device. It tells me that the account has been successfully deleted from this device. YET it will reactivate the account (without me entering a PW) if I choose to Add Account, it lists suggested accounts that can be added, which in this case, it lists our Outlook accounts. If I choose an account to be "added" it adds my Outlook account to the Mail App, and SOMEHOW it knows what the PWs are and automatically signs in and opens the accounts. I can see everyone's emails just by re-adding their accounts! How do I solve this issue please! I have thought of uninstalling the Mail App, but if someone who shares the PC decides to install it, they will see everyone's email.
