Windows 10: How to move OS from HDD to SSD without formatting HDD?

I'm upgrading my laptop with HDD to SSD and will be using HDD as secondary storage from CD drive. I want to move my windows 11 OS to SSD without formatting HDD. Can any one help me ?Imy HDD have 2 partitions C,D drive Where D has only all media files.

Will Windows 10 media installer automatically format the HDD, making the OS compatible with HDD, after the media is created on a computer with SSD?

If i use a computer with SSD to create a bootable USB flash drive with Windows 10, will the media creation tool detect the SSD and design the Windows OS to run only on SSDs, not on HDDs, meaning I will not be able to install the OS on my another computer, which uses HDD, and not SSD?

Also, will the Windows 10 installer format the HDD, so the HDD can have the best format for Windows, which is NTFS? Will the formatting happen automatically, or do I have to make it manually?

 

MIGRATION OF OS FROM HDD TO SSD

Hi,

If I just migrate my Windows 10 from HDD to SSD but since my HDD has two other drives-D & E, besides C; so after that, if I change the boot option to SSD from HDD as shown above, will the data on drives D & E of my HDD will be formatted as well since I'm just migrating my OS from a 1 TB HDD to a 256 GB SSD? My current HDD breakup is C(OS installed)- 148 GB, D- 390GB, E- 390 GB. Please let me know asap

Clean install of windows 11 on SSD (current OS on HDD)

I am planing to install a SSD in my laptop, which already has HDD. laptop support SSD and HDD together. The currest OS on the HDD and i want to do a fresh install on the SSD, Please can anyone write a step by step guide on what to do, i am not confident on this.
