Windows 10: How to make windows narrator work same in Microsoft edge and Chrome?

Hello,So, The website I am currently working on is completely uses angular and most of the things were developed by using angular material components, whenever I am trying to work with windows narrator in Microsoft edge the narrator reads very correctly, But not reads correctly in chrome browser.For example: <mat-slide-toggle> component reads as label switch-off or label switch-on in Microsoft edge with windows narrator according to toggle state.But incase of Chrome It reads as label button off and when I toggle it, the narrator doesn't reads it.Thank you.

Narrator cause mention pop out feature doesn't work correctly

Hi, currently I have encounter an issue that with Narrator turn on, the website @ mention feature is unable to work correctly.
This issue also able to reproduce in microsoft team web version (https://teams.microsoft.com/), google sheet and etc.

Step to reproduce:
1. Open narrator
2. Open microsoft team in web version
3. In any group chat, type '@'.

4. A suggestion list will popup.

5. Unable to continue key in any text to filter the suggestion list. Narrator will voice 'unavailable' upon key press.

p/s: It seems like Narrator will auto focus on the popup suggestion list option which have been implemented with aria-selected='true' and cause the input key no longer working.

Kindly let me know if there is any suggestion or finding on the issue above. Thanks.

 

Edge Import Bookmarks from Chrome does not work

Hi,

To resolve your issue with Microsoft Edge, we suggest that you clear your browsing data. Please follow the steps below:

• Click on the 3 dots at the upper right corner of Edge.
• Go to Settings.
• Go to Clear browsing data.
• Click on Choose what to clear > Clear.
• Try to import your bookmarks from Chrome to Microsoft Edge.

How to make Windows Narrator work on Chrome?

Hello,

When trying to use Windows Narrator on Chrome, I can select the top bar and it will read the name of the webpage, but I can't select or read anything on the screen. With other apps and on Edge, it works as intended, but due to my job, I need to use Chrome. On Chrome, when I try navigating using my mouse, the cursor doesn't update or read anything out. When using Scan mode, pressing the arrow keys or Tab will only navigate the tab list. If I select the address bar, it won't let me type as though it doesn't recognize that I'm focused on it at all. When turning off Scan mode, it doesn't recognize it at all. I tried reading the guides and looking online for a solution, but on Chrome only these do not work - the guide works fine with Edge (the only other browser installed on my work computer). Even on this website, I could only find one other question from 2017 but the user ended up using another 3rd party app instead.

I would like to use Windows Narrator to help me design accessible websites for users, as the mouse control it gives seems unique to this app, so an answer to this question would be very appreciated.
