Windows 10: How to make my network device be detected

I started having an issue with my wifi on my desktop, there was no wifi showing up even though my ethernet is plugged in, I had the router checked out and it got replaced which still did not fix the issue. Many sources have told me to use command prompts, install drivers, check the BIOS, and check the device manager, none of which worked. Something I found is that not only is it not working, but my pc is not displaying any network device at all, it is as if it was never there and there is no ethernet port connected to my motherboard. I'm completely lost so if anyone is able to offer help let m

Windows could not automatically detect this network’s proxy settings

Hi - Just so you know, I'm marking this "problem solved". I found this online How to Solve the Windows Could Not Automatically Detect Network Proxy Settings Error. Doing the last step under #2 is what solved the problem. McAvee is still scanning incoming. McAvee & Malwarebytes still show no problems with a full scan. Thanks for your help and suggestions.
