Windows 10: how to install a Windows System Image Backup to another laptop

Hello,I created a windows image system backup with a laptop, and i wanted to install it to another laptop, which is the same model.But when I boot the system from usb drive, on this other same laptop, to recover the system image, the system image is not detected even if my hard drive is connected.Thanks.

Kenny, I do not use Backupper but I suggest Backup rather than Clone and, at least for your first one, Disk backup. If it then asks about Full, Differential or Incremental choose Full. Get your first image made onto an external disk and study the Help file as dalchina suggested. Paul might well step in to offer further advice. Best of luck, Denis

 

Creating a System Image backup - keeps looping

The system image is exactly like the mirrored copy of the Operating System which contains the configuration of the Operating System. When you create backup system image your windows 10 comes back to the same position at when the image was created earlier.

As an initial step, I suggest you to make sure that the services required for backup to run successfully is enabled. Refer to these steps:

  Press Windows + R
  keys, type services.msc and press Enter.
  
• 
  In the services window, locate the services
  File history service and the Volume shadow copy service and check if they are running.
  
• 
  If they are not running, right-click and select
  Start to manually start the service.
  
• 
  Check if you are able to create a backup now.
