Windows 10: How to get screensaver timeout to stop automatically switching to sleep after 20 minutes...

This is my work computer, Windows 11 software all up to date. My screen used to never sleep, then within the last two weeks the settings have changed to sleep after 20 minutes. Every time I go in and change it back to "Never" it will automatically change back to 20 mins and my computer will go into sleep mode. This is extremely frustrating as I work a remote job and I don't want my computer turning off when I leave my desk. I've tried the advice on the other query on this topic but nothing is working the settings keep changing on their own. I've attached a picture of what my settings look like

Laptop Does Not Sleep Automatically/Screensaver never starts

My laptop does not sleep automatically...ever when connected to the Microsoft Designer Bluetooth Keyboard and Microsoft Designer Bluetooth Mouse with the laptop closed and connected to a Monitor. Here are my Power & sleep settings:





Also, no matter how long I leave my system untouched, the screensaver never starts. Here are those settings:





Any suggestions? I am under the assumption that resolving one issue would resolve both.

The listed waketimer presumably is required by Acronis backup as I have a backup scheduled at 4am daily.

 

Windows 10 asks for password after screen turn-off timeout.

Yes, this does the trick. I was concerned about prior Windows' behavior not allowing a shorter timespan for screensaver verses screen sleep modes. It works fine.

I have my Screen set to sleep at 10 minutes and my blank screensaver set to activate at 20 minutes, and requiring Lock Screen (doesn't say password, but it does!!) so the password is required after the screensaver timeout, and not after the sleep timeout!

Yes the screensaver is independent of the Sleep and Hibernate settings, although the display may time out to supercede the Screensaver - you'll have to check.

Was your screensaver reset to 1 minute? That may be due to the Update.

If not check the unattended Sleep timeout which also can be one minute.
