Windows 10: How to get rid of malware in OneDriveTemp?

Hello,My antivirus repeatedly identifies the file below as malware. Unfortunately, I don't know how to get rid of the file, because even if I delete it it's a hidden file, after working with OneDrive for a while, it reappears and downloads to the computer where I have OneDrive synced. Please advise me how to get rid of this file for good. Windows 10 Malware and Onedrivetemp

I am running Windows 10 and recently I keep getting a message that Defender has found malware and dealt with it.

When I look at the history in defender, it is claiming that this malware (BrowserModifier: Win32/Diplugem) is my Onedrivetemp folder, but gives this error message saying that it can't be removed;

Error code 0x80508023. The program could not find the malware and other potentially unwanted software on this computer.

The only way I can prevent this from repeatedly popping up is to stop my onedrive sync which I obviously don't want to do. I am experiencing this problem with both my laptop and tablet.

Please can someone advise on a fix?

What is interesting is that I'm getting this on both of my personal devices, but not my work pc where my onedrive also syncs to, but runs different security software.

I will check to see if I can see anything in my onedrive that looks suspicious, but this seems to be a temp file?

 

Does Windows Defender find and get rid of malware and PUPS such as Cleanserp and unTabs?
