Windows 10: How to get Microsoft to disable my Bitlocker remotely

Hi Microsoft team, My laptop personal one not the work one, automatically went into AutoRepair and I'm unable to access where my Bitlockers are. I already look it into Curry's PC World The place I bought it from for repair and have looked at all possible accounts to find the Bitlocker key but none of them seem to have the Bitlocker on it. I really need the data and the Curry's team already tried to do data recovery on it and even manually taking out the hard-drive but was unable to as the Bitlocker was still on it. They recommended me to contact the Microsoft team to ask for my laptop Bit

How to disable Bitlocker?

To disable BitLocker I would suggest you try the following steps and see if it helps.

1. Press Windows key + X and click on
Control Panel.

2. Change View by from Category
to Large Icons/Small Icons.

3. Click on BitLocker Drive Encryption and click on
Turn BitLocker Off.

4. Follow on screen instructions. Click on
Decrypt the Drive when the message appears.

Change in folder size after enabling Bitlocker

We understand you concern related to the size of the folder displayed. Try these steps to narrow down the issue:

1. Disable bitlocker
   and then check the folder size.
2. We would also suggest you to open the folder and select all files and see the size of the contents.

Let us know if the size of the contents matches the folder size. If you see a difference, then the folder might be showing incorrect size.
