Windows 10: How to fix windows 11 "updates are underway" restart loop

Basically, It just says "Updates are underway. Please keep your computer on." for a couple seconds and then it says "Restarting" and then it restarts and does it all over forever and ever. And I know it's not updating anything cause my computer actually shows the "gigabyte" logo first and then does it all over again.I don't know if it's my computer at this point cause it seems like no one on earth other than me is having this problem. I also tried to just turn it off by pressing the power button hoping it would stop the loop but nope when I turn it on again it just does it again. In fact I mig

Windows 11 updates are underway restarting loop

Hi,

I have a 2-year-old HP laptop with windows 11 that started to perform some sort of updates by itself 2 days ago. Everything was going completely normal until the laptop started restarting itself in an endless loop. The laptop starts to open like usual, with the HP logo popping up, but then there’s a loading screen with ”updates are underway, please keep your computer on” and after a few seconds it changes to ”restarting” and then the laptop does restart and the same thing happens again and again. I have no access to the login screen or desktop or anything. This loop went on for hours until i powered the computer off, after that I’ve tried to run the startup repair thing but that doesn’t do anything, after running the startup repair the laptop just starts to run windows normally again and the loop continues. I’ve also tried system restore but I only had one restore point in the list and there was some kind of error with that and system restore could not be performed. I tried entering safe mode but every time I tried that there was an error too and the blue screen with ”your computer ran into an error” text comes up and once that goes away the laptop once again tries to run windows 11 like usual. I also tried to uninstall latest quality update but there was an error too and the update couldn’t be uninstalled. I read that I could create an installation media using a USB flash drive but I do not have access to another laptop/computer I could create the installation media with. Bringing the laptop to a repair shop isn’t really an option either.

What should I do? Sorry for my bad english, it’s not my first language and I don’t even really understand any of this, I’m just telling you what I know.

 

Stuck in restart loop after updating windows os

Downloaded a windows 11 update and now my computer is stuck in a loop of restarting. It just says updates are underway and then restarting over an over again. How can I fix this?

 

Dell laptop stuck in “updates are underway” loop

My Dell Inspiron 15 laptop is undergoing a loop of “Updates are underway. Please keep your computer on.” and then “Restarting” loop. It has been like this for 3 days and has no sign of stopping or any fix so far. Does anyone have a solution to my issue?
