Windows 10: How to fix "Scanning for games on local network" on Minecraft Java?

I've tried several things like "Allow app through windows firewall", disabling temporary Windows antivirus, updating Windows, reinstalling Minecraft Launcher and Minecraft Java, and none of those have worked. The PC I'm trying to join a LAN world uses a direct Ethernet cable/wired connection and the PC a laptop that hosts the LAN game uses WiFi wireless connection. Maybe does it have something to do?. I tried joining the LAN world with another laptop and it did work. I'm not sure if there's and additional “setting” I haven't tried yet.Could someone help me please? :c

Minecraft scanning for games on local network not working

The only game I have had trouble with is Minecraft (Mojang version not Win 10)scanning for games on local network not working.
My desktop is an ethernet connection to an actiontec MI424-WR Rev I
All other laptops on wireless connection can see each other. I even tried one of the laptops on Ethernet using my ethernet cable and it still works.
I can direct connect i.e 192.168.1.6:50736 for example.

Here's what I have tried.
- all computers are using the same version of Minecraft 1.11
- checked firewall entries. Turned off firewall.
- Tried port forwarding. Except this doesn't make sense because all the other laptops are connected to same router and they work without the forced port forwarding.
- Took an empty disk drive and did a clean install of Windows 10 pro and then tried Minecraft. Scanning for games on local network does NOT WORK.
- I have uninstalled malwarebytes and admuncher and turned off Windows defender.

Where do I go from here? All my steam games work. Maybe minecraft just doesnt work for some computers?

Java usage to high while playing minecraft/related


Java usage is to high while playing games using java (Mostly Minecraft)

At idle java uses only using about 1-2% CPU usage, but when it comes to playing minecraft it increases to 15%-50%.

When i decrease the amount of FPS Minecraft makes the lower the percentage goes..

Things ive done:
Reinstalled Java
Cleared Java Cache
Updated Nvidia Driver
ADWCLEANER- Found no malware

Please its been like this for a week now ! And nobody has a fix for it
