Windows 10: How to fix gaming problems after the Windows 23H2 update?

Windows update 23H2 broke almost all my PC games, they just don't start. That is, Steam tells me that the games are running, but all I see is the start video/ingress of the games. Some with sound, some without sound. I can use the Task manager to stop the start videos, but Steam will still tell me that the game is still running. I can try to stop the game through Steam, after stopping the start video with the Taks manager, but that results in the game being listed with a never ending "stopping" notation, in Steam. If I don't restart the PC after stopping the start video with the Task manager

Windows Update keeps failing!

Hi,

I had once a similar issue like yours, i.e. not able to update Windows 7. What I did to solve the problems is:

- go to control panel, then to "Troubleshouting" > "System and Security" > "Fix problems with Windows update" > click "Advanced" > choose "Apply repairs automatically".

And Windows will start detecting the issues and will repair "Windows update components". The problems should be fixed now, close the program, restart the PC, and see if the mentioned steps have fixed the problems you mentioned.

A problem with the Windows 11 23H2 update.

Hi, I just had a couple of doubts...

1. With the steps given which W11 update will it give? Is it going to give the 22H2 or 23H2?
2. Currently for some reason I'm not able to get any updates for W11. Are they giving W11 22H2 or 23H2? Cause with 22H2 I had no issues. 23H2 had issues when upgrading from windows 10.
