Windows 10: How to fix blank blue screen on startup

When I boot my laptop it just returns a blank blue screen with no error messages. I can access the Lenovo setup utility but have limited options there and nothing I do seems to change the outcome. Does anyone have any ideas what might be the fix to this?

Blank screen on startup...

I've got an old Gigabyte GA-8IPE1000-G motherboard lying around. But I only get a blank screen on startup. I get the ram beeps and everything, just no screen??

Any ideas on where to look for the prob?

Any help would be welcome

what beeps are you getting?? that could be telling you what the problem is
