Windows 10: How to disable orange/red flashing app notifications in Windows 10 Taskbar?

Whenever an app flashes with an orange or red notification in the taskbar, Windows 10 unhides an autohide taskbar causing very annoying interruptions. From this source I read 0, but that makes it flash infinitely. Elsewhere I read 1, but that doesn't work either!

I didn't find anything else.

I have like 20 chrome windows and they all starts flashing in orange, it is annoying and I have to click on every single of them for it to disappear....

How to disable notification and sound for apps in Windows 10

  Do you want to disable only Outlook notification?

  When do you get this notification?
  
• 
  Do you want to disable other app notifications as well?
  

You will receive notification along with the sound if you have enabled settings accordingly for the application to notify you.



If you want to disable Outlook notification on Mail app, I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.
