Windows 10: How to disable hyper-v or hypervisor in Win 11?

How do I disable this " A hypervisor has been detected. Features required for Hyper-V will not be displayed."? I need to disable the hypervisor because I can't run my eve-ng. I always get virtualized Intel VT-x/EPT is not supported error. I have already tried unchecking hyper-v in turn windows features on and off. I also tried running the bcdedit /set... and disable-windowsoptional... both from CMD and powershell but I get the same issue. I even tried to turn off memory integrity but issue persist. Please help.

Can you see the Hyper-V Manager in the start menu? Run msinfo32 and see if the hypervisor can be detected.

Check if there is any other virtualization software installed on your computer. If yes, uninstall it and try again.

Also check if there are any third-party antivirus or security software that may be blocking Hyper-V. Try disabling them temporarily and see if that helps.

Hyper-V-Hypervisor crash my PC when launching

Hello,

I'm encountering an issue regarding the new PC I bought, there is some strange comportments I don't understand.

At least once a day, my PC crash, I have a black screen with the sound playing, then the sound freeze and the PC reboot.

Looking in the event manager, at the time of the crash I see the start of Hyper-V-Hypervisor. some other logs about it like correcting CVE-2019-11091, CVE-2018-12126, CVE-2018-12127, CVE-2018-12130, then a warning "The hypervisor has not enabled mitigations for side-channel vulnerabilities for virtual machines because HyperThreading is enabled. To enable mitigations for virtual machines, disable HyperThreading." and two second after this "The system has restarted without shutting down properly first. This error can occur if the system becomes unresponsive, crashes or unexpectedly loses power."

Between them I have two volgmr error "Failed to create the memory image file due to an error while creating the image."

It seems to me Hyper-V-Hypervisor is about VM, but I'm not using any VM on my PC, why is it starting it?

When I try the command dism.exe /Online /Disable-Feature:Microsoft-Hyper-V to disable Hyper-V-Hypervisor I have the error 0x800f080c meaning Hyper-V-Hypervisor is not installed. Why does it start if it is not installed?

Each crash is preceded of the "Hyper-V-Hypervisor is starting" log, and each "Hyper-V-Hypervisor is starting" is followed by a crash.

To address your concern, we suggest that you disable the Hyper V services. Kindly follow the steps below:

• Type Services on the search bar.
• Right click one Hyper V service, then select Properties.
• On Startup type, choose Disabled.
  
  
• You have to disable all the Hyper V services one at a time by following the same steps.
