How to delete support.client.exe after running it.On 2/19/25 I got a suspicious email saying I subscribed to $500 Norton virus protection. And like a nut I went online to get the real Norton tel# and choose a sponsored link which was fraudulent by the people that sent the email. Later, I scrolled down and got the real Norton number. It's very debilitating. There were lots of red flags I just got sucked into doing terrible things like downloading and executing a program: support.client.exe. To assist you better, I would like to ask if you have installed any Antivirus in the Laptop.

I suggest you to run the program in compatibility mode by following the steps provided below and check if the issue persist.

• Right click on the “.exe” file of the program and select properties.
• Under Compatibility tab, check the option for “Run in Compatibility mode”.
• Select the Operating System from the drop down list.
• Click on Apply and OK.

Alternative to Cisco VPN Client on Windows 10

If you execute the .msi file rather than the .exe it will not peform the version check.
