Windows 10: How to change your background for Xbox One *UPDATE*

There’s a much simpler way of changing your background on your Xbox. If you don’t have any files saved, screenshots, or any achievements it’s fine. If you go to the “select an image from the web” tab, then search up whatever it is you want to be as your background, hit the “start” button on your controller then scroll over to the button that says “set as background” and that’s it. After that you can close out of the web browser and you’ll have your new wallpaper

• Have you made any changes on the computer prior to the issue?
• Are you referring to desktop background image or lock screen image?

I suggest you to follow the below steps to change the background picture and check if it helps.

• In the search type as ‘Settings’ and click on it.
• Select ‘Personalization’, under ‘Background’ option select as ‘Picture’.
• Under ‘Choose your picture’ select any picture accordingly or you can browse the picture from your computer.

Background cannot be changed

Hi,

To change the background on your Windows 10 Mobile, please follow the steps below:

• Open Settings, and tap on Personalization.
• Tap on Start.
• Tap on the drop-down list under Choose a background.
• Select your preferred background and click apply.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Update. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Windows update.

  Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.

  Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.
