Windows 10: How to change greyed-out sample rate in Windows 10?

Hi, Could anyone help with this greyed-out audio format on my Windows 10 updated, please?I run my laptop ASUS Zephyrus Duo 15 SE GX551 2021 both at home and on-the-go. At home, I run it with an audio interface MOTU M2, however when on-the-go, I just use the built-in Realtek audio and I noticed that the audio started acting out since about a couple weeks ago. At first I experienced an error on Voicemeeter I use this app to help control my audio as I see a red "R" next to the "MENU" button. After a while, I just stopped using Voicemeeter and routed back my audio directly to either the bu

UNABLE TO CHANGE SAMPLE RATE

I am attempting to change the Sample rate to 2 Channel 16 Bit 44100 Hz on the Recording Tab but this is greyed out and will not accept change

Help !

 

Can't Change Microphone Default Sample Rate

I just reinstalled Windows 10 YESTERDAY and haven't even finished installing the software I use and I'm running into problems. I need to have control over my sound settings and I can't change my microphone rate, it's grayed out. See photo attachments. I have uninstalled everything audio in the device manager, downloaded the most up to date drivers from Acer, installed those and rebooted. Nothing I do is working. I freakin' hate Windows... but it's a necessary evil.

Sample Rate on Microphone

Please note that Windows cannot give your microphone something it does not already have. If your microphone has the ability to select sampling rates, you'll see a control for that on the microphone or in the software that came with the microphone. By itself,
changing a setting in Windows does not change your microphone's sampling rate.

If your microphone can select its sampling rate, keep in mind that higher sampling rates are more processor-intensive and result in larger files (when saved.)
