How to auto lock screen after a timeout?

I'm trying to set Windows 11 Pro to lock the screen after a timeout. If I go to Settings => Account => Sign-in Options, the setting for "If you've been away, when should Windows require you to sign in again?" says "Never". I've tried changing this to every other available option but it doesn't seem to save. Every time I return to this settings page it has reverted to "Never".I tried editing HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\7516b95f-f776-4464-8c53-06167f40cc99\8EC4B3A5-6868-48c2-BE75-4F3044BE88A7 to make "Console lock display off" timeout available in

    :)

  4. How to auto lock screen after a timeout?

Lock screen and timeout not needed for desktop!

I notice that the tablet/phone lock screen is still appearing for Desktop/Laptop installs and wonder why.

Previously when I enable turning off the lock screen in gpedit.msc it turns off the lock screen timeout too. But on the latest build I still get a much sooner timeout to my MS password than what I have set in Power Options.

How do I turn off the supposed Lock Screen timeout when I don't have a lock screen? This is annoying, and surely will annoy MS' billion+ desktop customers who don't need a phone or tablet lockscreen or timeout on their desktop/laptop which already has familar timeouts to password in Power Options.
