Windows 10: How do you change Windows 11 Welcome Screen Background?

Someone has played a practical joke on me in the office and changed my welcome screen....I cant change the welcome screen when I turn my computer on. The setting for this in Settings>Personalisation>Lock Screen, I cant change the Personalise your Lock Screen from Picture as its all greyed out. I'm trying to understand how someone has done it in the last week, think Tuesday/Wednesday.If I toggle the "Show the lock screen background picture on the Sign-in screen" this sets the start up screen to my sign in and screen saver. How do I change this as I cant figure out how they have even chang

• Have you made any changes on the computer prior to the issue?
• Are you referring to desktop background image or lock screen image?

I suggest you to follow the below steps to change the background picture and check if it helps.

• In the search type as ‘Settings’ and click on it.
• Select ‘Personalization’, under ‘Background’ option select as ‘Picture’.
• Under ‘Choose your picture’ select any picture accordingly or you can browse the picture from your computer.

Lock screen background keep changing

As per the description I understand your concern about lock screen background, we will help you with this issue.

I suggest you to follow the below steps to personalize the lock screen and check if it helps:

Change your lock screen background:

• Right click on Desktop, click on Personalization, and on
  Lock screen in the left pane.
• Here, under Background (click on the drop down arrow) you will see
  Windows spotlight, Picture, Slideshow.
• Select Windows Spotlight, lock the screen (Press Windows key + L) and check if it helps.
• Also, you can select Picture, Choose your picture, lock the screen and check if the issue persists.
