Windows 10: How do I share Minecraft with family members

I know this question has been asked before by others but I can not seem to get this to work. I purchased Minecraft using my account and would like to share it with my daughters account. I have a family set up, with myself and my daughters accounts. I followed the steps here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/archive/blogs/henrikn/sharing-windows-10-store-apps-with-your-family but this does not work. I signed in to the Microsoft Store with my account and attempt to install Minecraft. Every time I try this it gets stuck on "Acquiring License" then changes to "Something happened on our end"

Sometimes, cache and cookies stored in your regular browser can cause unexpected issues. You can open a InPrivate window in Microsoft Edge by pressing Ctrl + Shift + N.

Family Sharing Apps and Minecraft

I have followed the silly process for "family sharing" that everyone is directed to here. I purchased Minecraft on my account, logged into the PC with my daughter's account, logged her account out of the store, logged myself in to the store, installed Minecraft, then set the store to require my password for purchases. This seems unnecessarily complicated compared to the other app stores I've used , but it's how Microsoft does things.

This was all fine until today when my daughter wanted to buy an add on for Minecraft. When she made the purchase it never prompted for my password. Looking online I found many other people have the same issue, when making purchases through Minecraft.

So I have a couple questions.

First, is Microsoft planning to change app sharing to something like Google or Apple do, where anything 1 family member purchases can be shared with any other family members in the family group? Then instead of the current convoluted process I could simply log into my account, select the game to share, and designate the family member I want to share it with.

Second, with the current process being what it is, can I log my account out of the Microsoft store on my daughter's profile, and she is still able to access the store purchases I have installed on her profile? I have read some people complaining that when they have done that their children have lost the ability to play the games.

Third, if I have to leave my account logged in to the store on my kids accounts, how can I make the store ACTUALLY require my Microsoft password to make purchases?
