Windows 10: How do I remove the bluetooth security tag at login without disabling bluetoot services?

I booted my pc the other day and have a default login for the bluetooth security tag. I did add a bluetooth receiver for a couple devices and don't want to disable that service. How do I remove this at my computer's login screen? Windows 11

I understand the inconvenience that you are unable to login to your computer as Bluetooth Security Tag pops up. We will help to resolve this issue.

Your effort in resolving the issue is much appreciated.



Please perform some of the below troubleshooting steps and check:

I suggest you to reboot your computer to Safe mode:

• 
  While it is booting press Shift +F8 keys for few times.
  
• 
  You will be prompted with blue menu screen and select
  Troubleshoot.
  
• 
  Select Advanced options, and
  Startup settings, and Restart.
  
• 
  Now, Enable Safe mode and
  Enable safe mode with Networking.
  

Also, try either of these by pressing number 4 or 5 and see if you can login without Bluetooth errors.



If you can login, you can also try to connect a USB and copy your data while you are in safe mode.

While you are in safe mode,

• 
  Right click on Start button on the desktop and select
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on Administrative Tools, in this windows double click on
  Services.
  
• 
  Click on the Bluetooth services, and set
  Startup type for each Bluetooth service to DISABLED &
  apply.
  
• 
  Reboot your pc and try to login normally.
  
• 
  Right-click Start, Device Manager.
  
• 
  Uninstall all Bluetooth drivers and hardware.
  
• 
  Then click Action - scan for hardware changes and let windows reinstall Bluetooth.

I asked this before and They guy told me how to start windows in Safe Mode. Thanks for that. But if you can only run windows 10 in safe mode to remove that
BLUETOOTH SECURITY TAG. Then what good is it.

How do I stop/remove Windows 10 from showing that Bluetooth Security Tag on my Login in Screen. Im the only user and when I turn on my PC I want it to boot in to windows. It did it fine the first few times I used
it but now its there stoping me from booting in to the desk top unless I login.

Please confirm the following things for me.

1. May I know the make and model of your system?
   
2. Did the Bluetooth adapter come with the installation disk for the ‘CSR Harmony Wireless Software Stack’?
   

Please check with the methods below and see if it works out for you.

Method 1:

If you manually installed the ‘CSR Harmony Wireless Software Stack’, I would suggest you to set its four services to manual and stop it to check if it works out for you. You can do that by following the steps below.

1. Click on the ‘Windows’ icon at the bottom left corner of your screen and type in ‘Administrative tools’.
   
2. Click on ‘Component Services’ and then ‘Services’.
   
3. You should be able to find the services for ‘CSR’. Set those services to manual by double-clicking on them and changing the startup type.
   
4. Reboot the system and check if this fixed the issue for you.
   

If the issue persists, please follow ‘Method 2’.

Method 2:

Usually Bluetooth adapters are plug and play devices. If you haven’t paid for this software or it did not come with the Bluetooth adapter, as a troubleshooting step, I would recommend you to uninstall the application and you should
still be able to connect to Bluetooth.

You can follow the steps under ‘Remove in Settings’ in ‘Repair or remove
programs in Windows 10’ and check if it works out for you.
