Windows 10: How do I remove all traces of Acronis from Windows 10?

I subscribed to Acronis a couple years ago. I decided to get rid of it because it was or seemed to me interfering with other software, e.g., Inno Setup. I even removed my asked Acronis to delete my account. Yet a raft of Acronis tasks appear in Task Manager. If I kill them all Inno Settup works correctly. If I don't, Inno Setup fails to complete.So, how do I REALLY get rid of all the bits and pieces?BTW, any web search for info on this leads to Acronis!!!!! Obviously, they're trying to lure me back into their cave!

How to completely remove all traces of a Microsoft Account from a local User Account

To assist you with your concern on removing traces of Microsoft Account on your local account, you may do the following steps:

• Go to Control Panel.
• Select User Accounts.
• Click on User Accounts.
• Select Manage User Accounts - here you can delete the traces of the Microsoft Account.

Cannot update windows 10 due to Acronis True Image detected

Hi,

I am unable to proceed with a windows update due to an old program issue.

As far as I can find, this program has been completely removed and there is no visible trace of it.

Yet update still keeps detecting it and stops there asking me to remove it manually.

I have tried numerous fixes and troubleshooting attempts to identify and remove the offending program.

I have also tried programs such as Revo which are meant to root out such programs out and remove them.

None of these attempts have worked.

Here is the message I keep getting when the update halts:

"windows update

some apps need to be uninstalled

These programs need to be uninstalled because they

aren’t compatible with the upgrade.

• Acronis True Image

we couldn’t uninstall these apps

you’ll need to remove theses apps yourself, and then select Refresh."

How can I proceed when the original Acronis True Image program can no longer be found, but is still creating this problem?

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
