    How do I reinstate admin privileges for Windows 10 User without having admin privileges?


    I mistakenly set up a new machine with a Microsoft account instead of a local user, so I created a new local user in the computer management screen and added that user to the admin group, but when I returned to account settings screen, there was no option to "switch to a local user instead". To make matters worse, I somehow accidentally removed the admin privileges from the user that I had originally set up with the Microsoft account and the new local user that I set up is not coming up as an option on the log in screen so I am now stuck logging in as a standard user and can not make any syste
