Windows 10: How do I make my school account my main account?

I recently had to buy a new computer. On my old computer, I had my school Microsoft account as my main account. So when I turned on my computer I was automatically logged in to my school Microsoft account. Now with the new computer when I was setting it up, it wouldn't let me sign in with my school account for the main one. I had to create a new account just to get in. Now that I am on the computer, I have been able to sign into my school account but my main account that automatically logs me in is the new one and it is frustrating having to constantly remember to sign in to the school one. Seperate Personal Microsoft Account from School Account

Open the Settings App.

Go to Accounts.

Select Your Info, is the School Account Email listed there?

Select Emails and Accounts, is the School Account Email listed there?

Select Access Work or School, is the School Account Email listed there?

 

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

In Windows, you should never set a school account to administrator on your PC because when you leave the school, they close the account and you will be locked out of your PC.
