Windows 10: how do i get rid of this picture on my back ground screen?

I have no idea where this came from it just showed up one day. If i swipe down with three fingers it goes away until I click on something, then pops back up. There no way to minimize it or close it out. I've tried starting new desktop window and restarting laptop.

Lock Screen background picture


Has anybody had difficulty adding a picture / wallpaper to the lock screen.
I have just set up windows 10 screen saver and I see you can change the lock screen back ground picture.
I have tried adding either one of the windows wallpapers or one of my own pictures but I can't find any option to save the image. on closing the window & returning to the lock screen the picture does not appear to save and returns to the standard blue background with date and time.
I can't find any option to save the image as a lock screen wallpaper.
Does anybody have any suggestions.

changing back ground pictures

A couple of suggestions on this one:

• Open the Settings App (gear icon on your Star Menu)
• Go to Personalisation
• Click Background and set the background drop down to Picture
• Click Lockscreen and set the background drop down to Picture

If you have already set both of these settings and your desktop background still changes to a particular image, then in the settings app, go to Accounts - Sync your settings and uncheck the option to sync your theme
