Windows 10: how do i fix a client side error

i was on a website that i visit frequently and all of a sudden it saidApplication error: a client-side exception has occurred see the browser console for more information.what is this and how do i fix it? Is this a MS issue or chrome. The website repeats this if i try to go back on it.i cleared the history but not cookies or cache. i read smething about disabling javascript and then tunring it back on?Will that create problems with other sites?is this a permanent error? i can get on the site in Edge so i guess this is a browser problem? it's obviously not a system failure etc but there was

1. May I know, which version of Windows is installed on your computer?
   
2. Is your system connected to Domain network?
   

If you are not on a domain network you can try the troubleshooting steps provided below.



Method 1: Winsock reset.

1. Start your PC in safe mode.
   
2. Once you are on the same mode.
   
3. Search for Command Prompt on the Start Menu.
   
4. Right click and Run as Administrator.
   
5. Type in netsh winsock reset
   on the command prompt and hit enter.
   
6. Reboot the computer and check.
