Windows 10: How do I find out if I still have a copy of win 10 on my laptop after someone reloaded 8.1?

From the description provided, I understand that Belarc Advisor is notifying you of the updates that needs to be reloaded.

I would suggest you to check if the mentioned KB updates are properly installed from the Windows Update History. I would also suggest you to follow the below steps and see if it helps.

Step 1 Follow these steps to run the Windows inbuilt troubleshooter:

• Write Troubleshooting in the search box and hit enter.

• Click on Troubleshooting tab.
  

• Click on view all option on the upper left corner.
  

• Select the Windows Update option from the list.
  

• Click Next to run theTroubleshooter.

Step 2 Try to use the Windows Update troubleshooter and see if it helps.

I need to wipe the HD of two Laptops and do a fresh install of Win 10. But I do not have the Win 8 product keys as these PC's came preloaded with.

I have two different laptops that need their HD's wiped and reloaded with win 10.

Both of these originally came with win 8 preloaded and have since been up graded to win 10 without issues.

However, I now need to do a wipe and reload but Microsoft tells me once I wipe the drives, all the original key codes for the win 8, used to verify licensing will be gone and I will need the original product code that win 8 was loaded using at the manufacturer
to reload.

Is there an easier way to find these codes, other than calling the manufacturer and giving them the Units Id numbers and Serial numbers etc. I have these and will do that but just looking for a short cut.

Please reply if you have any good ideas or if you agree with the suggestion Microsoft gave me.

machine has win 10 pro, need to reload with win 10 home

purchase Win 10 Home USB. Loaded it on wife's laptop. worked good but she made an error and ended back in win 7 Pro. Tried to reload but it reloads every time in Win 10 pro. My prod key is for win 10 home. How can I reload win 10 home to help my lady?
