    How do I delete Sea of Thieves folder from WindowsApps post uninstall of game?


    I have a 54GB+ folder for Sea of Thieves on my C: drive, in a folder called Microsoft.SeaofThieves_2.96.2180.2_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe


    This folder is in Program Files\WindowsApps.


    The game was uninstalled weeks ago.


    I can't delete it. I can't give myself or Administrators permission to delete it.


    I need this disk space back. How do I remove this unwanted folder?

    I can understand the situation must be difficult for you when the Microsoft Store app doesn't work as it should.

    • Have you signed in to the same account that was used for purchase?

    sea of thieves

    Today I downloaded sea of thieves on my windows 10. I opened sea of thieves and it suddenly closed the game after a split second, I tried multiple times but got nothing, any suggestions?

    How can I delete the Sea Of Thieves closed beta?

    So I had access to the sea of thieves closed beta back when it was running, upon clearing out my hard drive with TreeSize I discovered 11gb of data in the WindowsApps folder (which without TreeSize I couldn't access How do I delete Sea of Thieves folder from WindowsApps post uninstall of game? :mad: ) Upon examining the files it turned
    out to be the Sea Of Thieves closed beta files.

    The only suggestion I find online other than dangerously deleting the apps folder was trying to pin the beta to my start menu and uninstalling HOWEVER as the beta no longer exists on the app store I cannot do this. I had NO idea these files were lurking
    on my PC still as I thought they were all deleted.

    I come here in hopes that somebody has an answer to removing this overly secure game install so I can make use of a currently wasted 11gb.

    If a Microsoft official see's this, is it possible to temporarily give me access to the SoT closed beta app on the store so I have the option to uninstall it? (No idea if that would work but it seems like it would if it recognised the files.)
