Windows 10: how do i completely remove all of windows's new "studio effects" features?

i'd been holding out on updating to the 24h2 for a while, but a few days ago i decided to finally let windows update do what it wants and install the new update, however, this update has come with some problems. One of the new "studio effects" features, known as "voice focus", is messing with all my recordings because windows has decided that it is a feature that should be enabled by default on all sound input devices, i understand that this is a good thing for most users, but i also need whoever is reading this to understand that there isn't a planet in this entire universe where it makes sen

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Why do I have to keep reinstalling the Surface app to get Windows Studio Effects to work (Surface Laptop Studio 2)?

Unfortunately we does not find too many resource regard to your issue and to top it up the test machine we currently at hand does not have the support for Windows Studio Effect.



May I know:

• Does the Windows Studio Effect works before
  

From current situation, I guess this kind of feature is a pretty new, it probably wouldn’t be so stable or there is some profile corruption on your current account.



I suggest you:

• Switch to new local account in Windows
  Switch to another local account on your computer, this is to exclude the possibility that broken account setting (On your current account) might affect your setting.
  
  • Select Start, select and hold (or right-click) the account name icon (or picture), then select Switch user. If you do not have another account, you could always add one under:
    Start > Settings > Accounts ; just remember to choose the local account.
